The team at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, a destination for exceptional taste, announced the third edition of the Celebrity Chef Collection in partnership with Michelin-acclaimed Australian-Lebanese chef Greg Malouf.
In keeping with the spirit of “Gather by JW”, diners will get a taste of the Middle East and India as acclaimed chef Malouf enters the Rang Mahal kitchen for a two-night experience in partnership with the venue’s chef De Cuisine Chef A Locke.
Chef Malouf is recognized as a modern Middle Eastern master for his refined approach and indigenous culinary expertise. Chef Malouf is no stranger to the region, having inspired countless dining establishments and home cooks for over 20 years with his award-winning recipes over the past decade.
Adding his Michelin flair to Rang Mahal’s signature dishes, Chef Malouf has curated a menu that playsfully celebrates Indian and Middle Eastern flavours. Pani puri meets hummus, falafel is doused in raita, married with the best street food to kick off the evening. The main event is the surf and lawn blending Chef Malouf’s Middle Eastern culture with the aromas of India.
Bengali-style sea bass features harissa and brick wafers, Rajasthani chicken with atayef and tahini raw yogurt, Indian spiced Australian lamb chops with chopped chickpeas, all served with tabbouleh. The night ended on a sweet note as Chef Malouf infused the beloved kulfi with cardamom, saffron and honey, mango caramel salad and pistachios.
Greg Malouf is delighted to be working with the Rang Mahal team on the latest edition of the Celebrity Chef Collection. Against the backdrop of two successful events, the hotel continues to collaborate with renowned local and international chefs.
Guests can pre-order the six-course menu at Rang Mahal from October 7 to 8, the hotel statement said. – arab trade news agency
