An undercover child sting in Florida led to the arrest of 17 predators, including three Disneyland employees and a registered nurse. Fox News Report.
Authorities named the stinging incident “Operation Child Protector”, which involved undercover detectives disguising themselves as 13 to 14 years old on social media platforms, mobile apps and online dating sites between July 27 and August 1. Children to eliminate child predators.
According to the authorities, the suspects communicated with detectives they believed to be children, and then appeared at an undercover location in Polk County at different times to meet with them and sexually assault them.
One of the suspects, 26-year-old Kenneth Javier Aquino (Kenneth Javier Aquino), was a lifeguard at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Polk County Sheriff officials said he was still wearing a Disney polo shirt, swimming trunks and alligator shoes when he was arrested.
Allegedly, Aquino communicated with a girl he believed to be 13 years old online, asking her to send photos and sending her explicit videos of herself.
The official added that Aquino had a girlfriend who was seven months pregnant and he told his deputy that he was a Navy veteran.
Other arrests included 34-year-old Jonathan McGrew and his girlfriend Savannah Lawrence, 29, who told their deputy that they were both guardians of Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.
The sheriff’s office said McGrew also tried to meet a 13-year-old girl and told her he wanted to have a threesome with her and his girlfriend. He allegedly sent an undercover detective video of him and his girlfriend having sex with each other.
Authorities said McGrew and Lawrence arrived at the undercover site together and were detained.
Disney World has not yet responded to Fox News’ request for comment.
According to the authorities, Juan Guadalupe-Arroyo, a 47-year-old registered nurse, was also arrested after interacting with a 14-year-old boy.
Guadalupe-Arroyo allegedly told the boy that he was 40 years old and explained in detail what he wanted to do to him before arriving at the scene with a condom.
