(Red Bank of New Jersey)— Independent Street Film Festival Held at Red Bank from September 7-9, 2022. The festival is a regional film and arts festival that combines its selection of films with relevant community events to celebrate human creativity and storytelling. ISFF is looking for films that express high-impact human stories of all genres.
The festival selects the most resourceful and innovative filmmakers from the U.S. and around the world to screen and connect with the participating arts communities of Red Bank and the Northeast. Films touted by the festival are also official selections/nominations and winners of Sundance, Slamdance, SXSW, Spirit Awards and Oscars for the past 6 years.
Independence Street Film Festival was born out of a collaborative distribution platform, so focused on educating and developing our filmmakers through an evolving world of technology, distribution and audience engagement, regardless of budget size and funding constraints. During the 5-day interactive film festival, filmmakers and attendees alike can enjoy panel discussions, live art, music, educational and social events sponsored by local breweries and restaurants for festival-goers Artisan food and beverages.
The narrative jury includes Kelly Broad (Executive Producer, HARBOR), Anita Raswant (Associate Programmer, Nantucket Film Festival) and Tim Molloy (Editor-in-Chief, filmmaker magazine). The documentary jury included the documentary production team Matthew Saleh and Rose Tucker (Barbecue) and Ruth Somalo (Senior Programmer, Ph.D., NYC).
Not only will the winning filmmaker take home a handcrafted “Franklin” trophy made from a million roses, but the Jury Prize winner will also take home $1,000 in cash for feature films and $300 for short films, To aid their distribution efforts, selected winners will receive a one-on-one consultative discovery session with Sony Classics President Tom Bernard.
