SAMP Army is a cricket franchise established in the United States. They compete in competitive games across the United States and are closely associated with US cricket, and their team includes national team players such as captains Monank Patel, Aaron Jones and former captain Saurabh Netravalkar.

Team owner Ritesh Patel has deep roots in US cricket; he also owns an indoor cricket and sports complex. Chief executive Madhukar Shree assists with his latest business in the UAE, bringing with him extensive experience in handling franchise cricket business and development in various tournaments around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The team has announced star South African cricketer David Miller as the main player for the season, which will take place at the Zayed Cricket Stadium from 23 November to 4 December. Miller was the face of the T20 cricket season, hitting 32 of 19 balls to help the Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals’ pursuit in the IPL final. He did similar work for the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League.

Other big names such as South African fastman Anrich Nortje, West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer and England all-rounder Moeen Ali were also included. This sets the stage for a powerful unit.

“The whole program is all in, not just on the player side, but on the support staff, marketing, social media, management, events, activations. We’re here to stay,” CEO Shree told Reuters National.

“We’re trying to get some big names. If you look at our four signings, some of them weren’t part of T10 before, but they are now.”
