Indian expat Sajad Ali Batt Abdul Samad Batt became a millionaire on Monday as he won the Al Ansari Exchange’s annual summer sale.
Sajad became eligible for the draw after sending Dh2,327 through one of the Al Ansari exchanges. He is the ninth millionaire at the annual driving event.
In addition to being crowned the ninth millionaire, the remittance center also gave away other prizes to customers.
Yemeni expat Sabri Alozaibi won a brand new Mercedes Benz, while Nepalese expatriates Junaid Ahmed Sajjad Zaheer Joiya and Pakistani national Keshar Hum Bahadur Karki each took half a kilo of gold.
The draw was conducted in the presence of senior officials of the Al Ansari Exchange, the Dubai Ministry of Economy and Tourism and members of the media.

Al Ansari Exchange also gave away 12 iPhone 13 smartphones during the campaign’s weekly raffle and gave eight selected customers a cash prize of AED 95,000.
The draw is open to all eligible transactions made through the Al Ansari Exchange app, digital channels and any of the company’s 220+ branches.
