The addition of the New York Strikers makes it an eight-team game, with two teams from the United States joining the ranks.
The Strikers franchise has been successful as a cricket franchise in the US and is looking to spread their wings in the rest of the world as well as in reputable leagues such as Abu Dhabi’s T10. Mysterious southpaw Yuvraj Singh has been named team mentor. He was part of the 2019 Abu Dhabi T10 League.
Representing unity on and off the field and an unrelenting passion for cricket, the Strikers series is owned by Sagar Khanna, who has been passionate about cricket since he was a child.
Sagar is delighted to be part of T10 Abu Dhabi, saying: “This is a very exciting time for our team as T10 Abu Dhabi is unique and highly competitive, bringing together Elite players from all over the world. It gives us a great opportunity to compete with the elite of cricket and test ourselves.”

The team brought in Kieron Pollard as their idol and signed England 2019 ODI World Cup winning captain Eoin Morgan as their platinum player. Azam Khan from Pakistan and Paul Sterling from Ireland are the two A-level players signed by the team.
Talking about the signing, Sagal said: “Keelon Pollard and Ian Morgan are the biggest names in white-ball cricket. They are both very dangerous players and we have no doubts that their leadership will have an impact on the progress of our camp. It matters. Pollard and Morgan both frighten their opponents, and we like the idea.”
“Paul Sterling and Azam Khan are also a very disruptive pair of batsmen who can turn things around very quickly. These four players represent a strong and hard-working core that fits very well with our idea.”

The Abu Dhabi T10 kicks off on 23 November 2022, a two-week run that will see international cricket stars compete in short but thrilling 10-plus matches. The New York Strikers are the second team from the United States to play in the Abu Dhabi T10, which will help highlight the growing quality of American cricket.
