The DP World Tour is a global golf tournament and Emirates has signed an extended partnership agreement, with the international airline remaining the official partner of the DP World Tour until the end of the 2024 season.
As part of the agreement, Emirates will benefit from high-profile branding across the 21 DP World Tour events, as well as the Tour’s media and digital platforms, as well as the Tour’s premium hospitality services and exclusive Pro-Am experience. Emirates will also receive Official Championship Partner status at 14 events on the DP World Tour calendar each season.
Emirates will continue to be a partner of the Tour’s Virtual Eye, an animated graphics system delivered via live TV that provides real-time location and information on player performance and statistics. Additionally, the new Emirates Fly Better Moments content chain will showcase exciting moments from the Championship to fans through the Tour’s digital platforms.
Emirates is one of the world’s largest international airlines, connecting customers via Dubai to more than 130 destinations on six continents with its modern fleet of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s. The partnership between Emirates and the DP World Tour dates back more than 30 years, since Emirates became the title partner of the Dubai Desert Classic in 1989. Subsequently, Emirates became the season-ending partner of the 2009 DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, and became the Official Partner 2014 Tour Partner and Official Airline.
