Enoc Group, through its subsidiary Horizon Terminals Ltd (HTL), has announced the implementation of advanced digital solutions to efficiently plan fuel supply using the latest technology.
The announcement was made at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) and Dubai Solar Show 2022, making Enoc the first fuel company in the UAE to implement the latest version of this advanced system.
The system, called PDI Logistics Cloud, is used to plan fuel supplies for Enoc retail stations and commercial customers. It is based on their current inventory, forecasted demand, time required to load road tankers, traffic levels to the site, and time required to pour product into designated storage tanks. It also optimizes tank levels throughout the supply chain, reducing on-site inventory levels where sales are low.
