Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visits the 19th Abu Dhabi International Hunt and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). The event will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until Sunday.
Sheikh Khalid was accompanied by Chief of the Special Patrol Division of the Criminal Security Department, Lt. Col. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Staff Pilot; Majid Ali Al, Chairman of the ADIHEX Senior Organizing Committee Mansouri and Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.
During the tour, Sheikh Khalid was briefed on the latest initiatives launched by the Abu Dhabi Police Cavalry and praised their efforts to incorporate equestrianism as a national heritage into the policing ecosystem.
He also visited several local, regional and international booths where he reviewed the latest exhibits, products and technological solutions used to protect the environment and promote sustainable hunting practices.
This year’s show will host 900 exhibitors from 59 countries under the theme “Sustainability and Tradition… A Desire for Rebirth”.
ADIHEX is the largest exhibition of its kind in the MENA region. In 2022, it will be held for 7 days and the number of visitors is expected to exceed 105,000.
