Delhi, October 4, 2022: Indian full-service airline Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, launched daily nonstop flights between Mumbai (India) and Abu Dhabi (UAE) over the weekend.
The maiden flight took off from Mumbai on 1 October 1910 and arrived in Abu Dhabi in 2040, making Vistara the first airline ever to offer a premium economy option on the route in addition to business and economy class company.
Vinod Kannan, CEO of Vistara, commented on the new international routes: “We have been steadily strengthening our presence in the UAE and the rest of the Gulf… The UAE’s booming business, trade and tourism make Abu Dhabi a great addition to our network. Perfect choice.“
Vistara is India’s highest rated airline on Skytrax and TripAdvisor. In addition to being lauded for its world-class cabin cleanliness and high safety standards, it has also won several Best Airline awards.
