What Giannis Antetokounmpo will surely bring Abu Dhabi with him?
if you guessed it Oreo, it’s so last year. New for the Milwaukee Bucks star: Skittles.
Antetokounmpo A video was shared on Twitter from the plane on Mondayexpressing his love for colorful fruit-flavored candies.
“You can’t go anywhere without food, drink, and fun,” he said in the video.
The Bucks reportedly plan to leave Milwaukee after practice Monday for a 16-hour plane trip to Abu Dhabi. Previous Journal Sentinel Reports. Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks Thursday and Saturday at 11am (central) in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
In Saturday’s preseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Antetokounmpo – who didn’t play – was eating Skittles and popcorn.
“I like to eat and drink,” Antetokounmpo said in Monday’s video. “Everyone is talking about my addiction to skittles.”
After a brief panic of not being able to find them in his bag, he pulled out a bag of wild berries.
“Last year was Oreo,” he says in the video. “This year’s skittles, baby.”

Although he was familiar with Oreos – they were the “first thing” he ate when he came to the league. This way of eating? a revelation.
During a commercial video shoot, a child asked Antetokounmpo if he had ever made milk in an Oreo before, Antetokounmpo explained back Bucks defeat Detroit Pistons 114-93 on November 24, 2021.
“I’m starting to realize from now on that it’s a nightly snack for me,” Antetokounmpo says then. “It’s amazing.”
Now, it’s time for Skittles to shine. He kissed his little purple bag and put it back in his bag.
