Prince William has vowed to honor his “greatly missed grandmother” Queen Elizabeth through his environmental work.
In his first speech since the monarch’s death last month, the Prince of Wales, in his address to the Wildlife Alliance Global Summit, reiterated his commitment to the “war” against the illegal wildlife trade, while reflecting on His grandparents and father, King Charles, had worked for his charities.

The 40-year-old royal slammed those involved in wildlife crime and its impact on the world.
He continued: “There are still too many criminals who think they can get away with it, too many lives destroyed and too many species on the brink of extinction as a result of this heinous crime.

Before giving his speech, William spoke with Altingisman, a ranger from the Southern African Wildlife Academy, whose colleague Anton Mzimba – whom the prince had met before – was shot dead in front of his family in the summer.
