The Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks will play the first of two games on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Both teams will remain in Abu Dhabi and play another game at the same time on Saturday morning, both of which can be found on NBATV.

The Bucks and Eagles will show United Arab Emirates fans what the 2021 Eastern Conference finals will feel like, with something to add to each team. Both teams want to be players of the year Eastern Conference playoffs.

The fight will take place at the Etihad Arena, a massive stadium that has hosted countless mixed martial arts events, including Harlem Globetrotters, Maroon 5, Sting and more.

Several former players will play on Thursday and Saturday as there are NBA District Open from Wednesday to Sunday. The players reportedly included Chris Bosh, Shaquille O’Neal, Isiah Thomas and Dominic Wilkins.

The two games represent a larger initiative by the NBA in the Middle East. Not only did the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks play two preseason games in Abu Dhabi, the NBA also began a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism.

The partnership aims to help promote health and fitness through the NBA FIT Clinic and provide players in Abu Dhabi with access to former NBA players.

The Bucks and Eagles aren’t the only teams playing in another country during the preseason. The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards just finished two games in Japan.

The San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat will play a regular-season game in Mexico City in December, and the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons will play a game in Paris in January.

The Milwaukee Bucks are no strangers to playing in different environments during the preseason.

This isn’t the first time the Milwaukee Bucks have played a preseason in a previously unimagined environment.Back in the 2019 NBA preseason, the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings play justice games. A game centered on the game of basketball in a correctional facility designed to connect with incarcerated individuals and motivate them through the game of basketball.

Back in 2008, the Milwaukee Bucks played two preseason games against the Golden State Warriors in China.

The Milwaukee Bucks played two regular-season games outside of North America. The first was a 95-79 victory over the New York Knicks in London in 2015. The second was a 116-103 win over the Charlotte Hornets in Paris in 2020.

It may also be worth noting that Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Sandro Mamukrashvili spent their summer basketball games in Europe. European Basket Contest.

Who can we expect to play for the Milwaukee Bucks?

All the players and coaches will travel to the United Arab Emirates to play in Abu Dhabi, as will some of the team’s ownership groups. However, while the entire team is on the trip, it will certainly help build chemistry around an already tight-knit team that has returned nearly all of its players from last year’s team and added Joe Ingles, but Not everyone is suitable for these competitions.

Joe Ingles, an obvious omission from the Milwaukee Bucks, could play Thursday and Saturday as he at least recovers from an ACL injury for the next few months.

The main player missing from the Milwaukee Bucks is Khris Middleton, who is sidelined with a wrist injury, and it remains to be seen whether he will be ready for the season opener. Another player who may not play is Wesley Matthews, who hasn’t been practicing. It sounds like Giannis Antetokounmpo will go all out after taking part in the preseason opener Saturday night, when Milwaukee Bucks lose to Memphis Grizzlies.

Thursday and Saturday’s preseason games are sure to be fun and will help the NBA help grow the game of basketball around the globe. Catch the first game tomorrow at 11am Central Time, the same time Saturday.

Stay tuned to Buck Pass behind the scenes for the best of the Abu Dhabi game.
