Homegrown property developer Zāzen Properties has announced its new development, Zāzen Gardens’ in Dubai’s Al Furjan neighbourhood.
There will be a display unit and sales centre at the project site, with off-plan sales scheduled to start in November this year, according to a statement from the UAE developer.
A first of its kind, groundbreaking planning for the Leed Gold Certified & Wellness mixed-use development will begin next month, Zāzen said, adding that sustainability and healthy living were at the heart of the premium property.
In addition to major amenities, the development features 35,000 square feet of landscaping, multiple recycling stations, electric vehicle charging stations, and rooftop solar panels, which will help reduce owners’ common area service charges.
Indoor and outdoor areas will be carefully planned through all phases of the development, ensuring that LEED Gold standards are met and the project’s carbon footprint is minimised while providing the best environment for the family to grow.
The condominiums consist of 159 units ranging in size from 824 square feet to 1,612 square feet, catering to the needs of both investors and end users. The project, due to be handed over in April 2024, will also have two retail outlets on the ground floor that will cater to tourists and residents of the Al Furjan community.
The progress comes after Zāzen Properties completed the handover of its flagship development Zāzen ONE at JVT earlier this year.
“The strong interest in the Al Furjan area strengthens the area’s strength as a micro-market. The opening of the Expo 2020 Metro line has established two stations in the area, providing easy access to well-known Dubai landmarks and neighborhoods such as Dubai Marina, JLT, media, etc. City and Barsha Heights,” said Madhav Dhar, co-founder and COO of Zāzen Properties.
With plans to transform the Expo 2020 site into a mixed-use hub (Expo City Dubai), Al Furjan Residences will continue to be a top choice for the UAE’s middle- and upper-class population.
Dhar noted: “With vacant apartment listings in Al Furjan approaching 90% occupancy in the second quarter of 2022, we expect a continued influx of investors, buyers and renters in the area.”
“With our next launch near Garden MRT station, we are delighted to bring added value to Al Furjan and raise the overall level of living experience and quality of residential developments in the area, similar to what we achieved in JVT with Zāzen One achievements,” the senior official said.
“Our next project, ‘Zāzen Gardens’, will not only be Leed Gold certified and deploy on-site renewable energy through solar panels, but will also introduce a new integrated wellness design concept within the building, bringing greater benefits to both parties. A healthier, happier environment for owners and tenants,” he added.
