Under the sponsorship of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships will be held from October 29 to Held in Abu Dhabi on 8 November, reaffirming the emirate’s status as the global home of Jiu-Jitsu.

More than 2,000 men and women from up to 70 countries will compete in the competition organized by the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation and hosted by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Athletes will demonstrate their skills in the Adult, Under 21, Under 18 and Under 16 age groups.

Abdel Moneim Al Hashemi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Chairman of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and Senior Vice-President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, expressed his gratitude to His Highness for his endless support to UAE sports and athletes.
