A new multilingual educational and entertainment radio station for the expat community has been launched in the UAE.
Online radio is equipped with the latest smart software and technology.Operating primarily in English and Malayalam, the bilingual station will also incorporate entertainment and educational programming in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and other Indian languages
“Radio 360 started with a good idea as it targets groups such as students, families and education. As envisioned by the founding father Sheikh Zayed, the UAE is a country that pursues an inclusive culture,” said Abu, a prominent Arab media personality Rashid, at a briefing on Wednesday.
“The cosmopolitanism of the UAE is a beautiful asset and Radio 360 treasures it very much. Listening to different people allows us to learn new things about the world we live in, which is why the radio motto is ‘Listening is a virtue’. Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of 360 Radio, said that 360 Radio facilitates dialogue among expatriates that the UAE is their homeland, while remembering their home country, culture and language, while taking office at the ceremony.
360 Radio will also offer its educational programming as podcasts on the website, while social media accounts will showcase current affairs and expat news.
