ATLANTA – Looking for a fun new group outing in Atlanta?
A new escape room and bar called Beat the Bomb has plenty to offer, hoping to lure patrons to its brand new location on Atlanta’s Upper West Side.
According to the press release, the “1 Hour Mission Experience” team donned hazmat gear before dodging lasers and cracking codes to disarm locks.
The games will feature touchscreens, motion sensors, RFID technology, projection walls and lasers, as well as unique games that test communication, coordination and agility.

“The entertainment standards are high for Atlantans, and we’re ready to deliver something that will truly surprise them,” said CEO and founder Alex Patterson.
The 10,000-square-foot space in which the business will operate is owned by Jamestown, a developer in the Ponce City market. According to the press release, the property features 10 game rooms, a beer garden and a bar serving food and drinks.

The company says it is the world’s first immersive social video game company. The company’s first location challenge, located in Brooklyn, New York, opened in 2017.
