Ukraine’s new ambassador to Berlin

Ukraine is changing its ambassador to Germany. Oleksii Makeyev will arrive in Berlin on Monday and is expected to be received by the German president soon. The new appointees are expected to carry on the legacy of their predecessors and will demand more military supplies from Germany.

Germany calls for further EU enlargement

German Chancellor Olaf Schultz expressed support for EU expansion. He also proposed far-reaching cooperation within the EU, which some EU member states see as a threat.

National Congress of the Communist Party of China

China-Taiwan relations are the focus of the ongoing 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. In his speech, President Xi Jinping emphasized his determination to achieve what he called the reunification of Taiwan.

Hungary Sanctions Consultations
