Abu Dhabi Council of Women Entrepreneurs to hold first meeting in 2022

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Abu Dhabi Council of Women Entrepreneurs held its first meeting in 2022, led by the Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Asma Al Fahim. The meeting discussed the Council’s strategic objectives and creative initiatives for the upcoming period to enhance women’s contribution to sustainable economic development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Council members discussed opportunities to bring women to the next level in business and investing.

The meeting was attended by members of the Abu Dhabi Women Entrepreneurs Council: His Excellency Dr Khadija Al Ameri, His Excellency Noor Al Tamimi, His Excellency Marwa Al Mansoori and His Excellency Shaikha Al Nowais. The conference took place at “Architecture”, one of Mamsha Al Saadiyat’s unique projects, initiated by Emirati entrepreneur Noran Al Bannai, and reflects the Council’s efforts to support businesses started by women entrepreneurs across Abu Dhabi’s industries.

HE Asma Al Fahim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Council of Women Entrepreneurs, said: “The Council plays a key role in enhancing women’s competitiveness in the market. Women play an active role in strengthening trade and investment relations with countries around the world, achieving A series of achievements, inspiring future generations.”

“The Council aims to foster an entrepreneurial culture and encourage aspiring women to develop their projects and expand their businesses in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. We are grateful for the support of our wise leadership in this area, and the competition in the Emirate Strengths such as advanced infrastructure and diversified investment opportunities in key areas to drive our growth and success,” he added.

The Abu Dhabi Council of Women Entrepreneurs discusses its upcoming initiatives to support women and entrepreneurs, giving them the advice they need to start a business in the emirate and the UAE. The council will build effective partnerships with government and the private sector, and strengthen collaboration with local and international business councils.

The Abu Dhabi Council of Women Entrepreneurs, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), was established in 2001 to encourage women to pursue entrepreneurial careers. The council supports women by providing training and development, advisory services, legislative and technical guidance, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise among women in business to improve productivity and product quality.
