The organizers of the ICOMIA World Wharf Conference (IWMC) are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the debut of the long-awaited Dubai and Middle East Conference. The main purpose is to stimulate the leisure boating industry in Dubai and the Middle East to develop the economy of the UAE and Dubai.

The event is planned for three days and is hosted by the Middle East and North Africa Recreational Marine Association (LMA) and supported by major participants including P&O Marinas, Dubai Tourism and D-Marin Dubai Harbour Marina. The conference will bring together more than 200 representatives from all over the world, including leading terminal and club operators, owners and suppliers of terminal infrastructure, and representatives of relevant government agencies.

What added great value to this event were several talks and panel discussions, focusing on future leisure, social and economic trends and their impact on the terminal, hosted by the double Olympic sailing medalist Shirley Robertson.
