Adele wanted to pursue a degree in English literature after living in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old singer – who has a 10-year-old son Angelo with her ex Simon Konecki – will begin her show next week at the Colosseum in the US city of Caesars Palace, and she has already planned what to do Next, because she wishes she had gone through college.
She said: “After Las Vegas, I really wanted to get a degree in English literature. If I didn’t succeed in singing, I think I would definitely be a teacher. I think I would be an English literature teacher.
“I definitely feel like I use my passion for English literature in what I do. But even if I don’t go on to get a job out of my degree, I wish I could go to university, I wish I had that experience. “
But the “Easy on Me” hit producer, who is dating sports agent Rich Paul, won’t be swapping Sin City for sticky floors in 2025 after her “Weekend With Adele” residency The Student Union bar, as Adele admits, does her online English literature course.
“I’m not going to college, I’m going to do it online with a mentor, but that’s my plan for 2025. Just to qualify,” she told a fan Q and A in Los Angeles, according to The Sun.

During the TV special, Lady Emma Thompson asked Adele if there was someone who inspired her during her childhood.
Naming her former English teacher, the ‘Hello’ singer explained: “She left when I was in eighth grade, but she got me really into literature, I’ve always been obsessed with English and obviously now I write lyrics.
“But she also dances hip-hop and I’m too scared to go in, but like in the cafeteria they used to do these dances and stuff like that.
“She’s so cool, so engaging, she really makes us care, we know she cares about us and stuff like that.
“She used to have all these gold bracelets and gold rings.
“She’s so cool, so gracious and lovely, and I’m really looking forward to my English class.”
