A husband has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, accusing her of stealing Dh70,000 from his safe during their marriage without his knowledge and consent. The Abu Dhabi Family Court and civil and administrative cases dismissed the case.

Details of the case date back to earlier when the husband filed a lawsuit in the Abu Dhabi Family Court as well as civil and administrative cases in which he obliged his ex-wife to pay him Dh85,000, which she allegedly owed without permission. His consent was taken from his safe.

He also asked her to swear in court that she did not take Dh70,000 from his safe or collect Dh15,000 from him to transport his children to school. The man stated in the lawsuit that the respondent is his wife, with whom they have three children.

He added that she knew the secret number to his vault and she told him she had taken the money and promised to return it.

He also confirmed that the respondent had delayed the refund and that she had filed several lawsuits against him for spousal expenses and divorce.

The appellant added that the appellant asked him for Dh15,000 for the boys’ school transportation fee, which he sent to her with his daughter, who then denied receiving the money and asked him to send it again, which he had already sent. .
