[ad_1]

Emirates said that UAE residents holding non-Dubai visas cannot land at Dubai Airport.

In response to questions raised by netizens, Emirates support staff emphasized that only Dubai visa holders who have obtained entry approval from the General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) can travel to Dubai.

“Only Dubai visa holders approved by the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners’ Affairs (GDRFA) can travel to Dubai. Holders of non-Dubai-issued visas cannot travel to Dubai.”

When another netizen asked when tourists can travel to Dubai from India, the Emirates support staff pointed out that there is no latest news about the restrictions, and replied: “At present, only people with a Dubai residence visa can travel from India. Dubai. Please pay close attention to our website for updates. Entry rules and travel guidelines can be changed at any time.”

Emirates Support also clarified that passengers with newly issued residence visas cannot travel to Dubai.

Earlier, on August 7, Air India stated in a notice to the travel agency that passengers can only land in the emirate where they live.

An Air India spokesperson added that the update is based on guidelines issued by the UAE Civil Aviation Authority.
