Multiple Agilysys software systems on a single cloud-based platform will provide operational efficiency and superior guest experience in what will soon be Korea’s largest resort entertainment center
Alpharetta, Georgia and Incheon, South Korea, November 8, 2022–(Business Wire)–Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AGYS), a leading global provider of hospitality software solutions for high-return hospitality services, today announced a meaningful addition to its Asia Pacific client portfolio: Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort (“Mohegan INSPIRE”), which will become the largest hotel, retail and entertainment complex in South Korea upon completion. Agilysys will provide multiple hospitality systems for the property, including its core property management (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems. The transaction marks significant progress for Agilysys in the Asia Pacific region, including its first casino property in South Korea and a large-scale PMS deployment.
Mohegan INSPIRE is expected to open in 2023 as a $5 billion entertainment resort that will eventually span more than 500,000 square meters in the Incheon International Airport IBC development an hour outside Seoul, a major hub in Northeast Asia . Upon completion, the complex will feature a three-tower luxury hotel with more than 1,300 five- and six-star rooms, more than 20,000 square meters of luxury retail space, more than 20 food and beverage concepts, a 20,000 square meter casino, and Korea’s largest entertainment venue.
Hospitality-focused innovation and the ability to deliver diverse, personalized guest experiences at scale are meaningful considerations for team evaluation systems across hotels.
