Harry Potter fans, we have some amazing news! Miral has just announced that a Harry Potter-themed land is coming to Abu Dhabi.
It will be located in one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world – Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi. This is the first Harry Potter-themed experience to open its doors in the Middle East.
Fans, no matter which house they come from, will be able to step inside iconic locations in the wizarding world.
Excited about the project, Miral Chairman HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak said: “We are very proud of our ongoing partnership with Warner Bros. The future brings this fascinating project to the Middle East and the world first.’
What will happen?
“The Wizarding World has something for fans of all ages to enjoy,” said Pam Lifford, president of global brands and experiences at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Knowing the endless love for the Magic series, Lifford says the theme park will bring the world of magic to life in an immersive experience. This will be a must-see for fans.
As of now, there’s no opening date for this amazing theme park, but you can bet we’ll keep our eyes and ears open for the announcement. We’ll also pay close attention to what kind of rides and immersive experiences we can expect.
The Harry Potter theme park will be very large and join the six existing immersion parks in the award-winning theme park.This includes Bedrock, Dynamite Canyon, Toon Junction, Gotham City and Metropolis.
For Muggles (non-magical people), Harry Potter is a global phenomenon spanning eight films based on JK Rowling’s best-selling novel. It has been distributed in over 200 regions and translated into over 80 languages.
