Formula 3 rookie Zane Maloney will fight for the trident in the final race of the Formula 2 season in Abu Dhabi.

One year after finishing eighth in the European Formula Open, Maloney moved to the 2021 Formula European Championship (FREC).After finishing fourth in the championship, Maloney was announced as one of three drivers to compete in 2021 Formula 3 playoff test. After 2022
Callan Williams has left Trident & F2 “to focus on the next step in his racing career”. With one round left in the Formula 2 championship in Abu Dhabi, Trident believes the experience Maloney will gain is the best fit for his future development and the team.
Maloney is already vying for a Formula 2 seat in 2023, and Trident offers him this rare opportunity that will be a big moment in his young career.
