Disneyland took a new step towards diversity and inclusion in their “it’s a small world” ride.
When the ride reopened as “It’s a Small World Holiday,” the costumed dolls were unveiled, and around 300 others were joined throughout the ride, representing singing children from countries around the world.
Every year, Disney adds temporary holiday-themed decorations and carols to the rides, but new dolls – have been placed in the Latin America section and finale, when seasonal decorations are in new year.

The two dolls in the wheelchair are replicas of the dolls previously standing on the scene, recreated in the same costume and style, sitting in chairs designed to match the style of the attraction creators, Mary Blair.
