The UAE President was accompanied by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Adviser to the Presidential Court.
The reception was also attended by Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, and embassy staff, as well as some Indonesian government ministers and senior officials.
His Highness was officially entertained, and thousands of students lined the road to greet the President of the UAE while waving the national flags of the two countries.
One of the main highlights of His Highness’s visit was the opening of a replica of Abu Dhabi’s iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which can accommodate up to 10,000 worshippers at a time.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will also be in Bali on Tuesday for the G20 summit. He will lead a high-level UAE delegation to meetings and events during the two-day summit, WAM reported.
Priority areas for discussion will be energy and food security, climate action, and sustainable development that enables countries and their peoples to grow and prosper.
