The popular “First Dawn” light show returns to the Coronado Hotel’s century-old tree, bigger and brighter than ever. After its premiere in 2021, EPIC will feature more than 75,000 lights, displaying a coordinated and dazzling display of light for nearly 12 minutes. Frosted by the Sea guests can also enjoy the new heated oceanfront igloo, filled with sparkling lights, comfortable seating and seasonal decorations.

EPIC will also once again grace the Coronado Hotel’s historic foyer with a massive 22-foot Christmas tree adorned with approximately ten thousand amber lights and nearly two thousand ornaments.
Ornate garlands with ornate bows, sparkling displays of giant ornaments, and more than 20 themed Christmas trees ranging in size from 8 feet to a dramatic 23-foot lobby tree and 25-foot garden tree, with EPIC legendary winter views throughout the hotel decorate.
Just a short drive from the coast, Alila Marea Beach Resort is equally sparkling at Christmas, thanks to epic entertainment groupThoughtful decor is implemented. Just named a 2022 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Resort, Alila Marea is the latest hotel resort to partner with EPIC to create a vacation experience.
“The architecture of Alila Marea Beach Resort already tells a compelling story. Our aim was to enhance that story by using existing coastal elements very similar to the property itself,” added Hill. “We celebrate the season through the lens of the local landscape, incorporating natural mediums such as pampas grass, sea glass, driftwood, copper, tin and gold.”
