Ambassador Mazemo said that the media is very important in all countries because of its role in educating, informing and even entertaining people, adding that media institutions also exert influence and act as opinion makers.

He highlighted the global reach of the GMC as it unites policy makers at the government level with media gurus who can shape and shape the industry and understand the impact of media on all demographic groups in society, from youth and parents to governments who must advocate Their policies and development history, as well as industries who want to showcase investment opportunities and traders who want to showcase their goods and services.

Mazemo also stated that at this event, they can meet decision makers from governments around the world to meet their needs as a country in the media sector and sell investment opportunities that exist in Zimbabwe’s media sector.
