President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Venezuelan Vice President Dr. Delsi Rodriguez at the Shati Palace on Saturday.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Rodriguez, who conveyed Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s greetings to the President and his best wishes for the UAE’s further progress and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohammed asked Rodriguez to convey his greetings and best wishes for President Maduro’s continued happiness and health, as well as his best wishes for further stability and prosperity to the friendly Venezuelan people.
The leaders discussed the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries as well as the development opportunities and diversification bases available to both parties, especially in investment, trade and economic fields. The two sides exchanged views on some issues and topics of common concern.
Several senior officials attended the meeting.
