HPE launches new UAE and Africa regional center in Dubai

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched a new UAE and Africa organization, bringing together UAE operations with African operations.

The new organization will be led by Ahmad Alkhallafi, who will oversee HPE’s operations in the UAE and the African continent.

Alkhallafi joined HPE in 2020 as Managing Director of HPE UAE, responsible for driving business growth and maintaining high levels of customer and partner satisfaction. Alkhallafi is a board member of the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce and has extensive industry experience with over 16 years of experience working in the UAE tech sector. Prior to joining HPE, he served on the board of the Emirates Post Group Electronic Document Center and helped launch Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (du), where he led enterprise government sales and oversaw the design of new products, services and private cloud computing solution.

Edge to Cloud Business

“Over the past two years, Ahmad has successfully led our UAE business, transformed our team, increased our customer relevance and significantly grown HPE’s edge-to-cloud business. HPE UK, Ireland, Middle East and Marc Waters, Managing Director for Africa, said: “He is highly respected both internally and externally and has the ability to use his leadership, strategic thinking and operational control to transform our African business. ”

major initiatives

In his new role, Alkhallafi will oversee teams based in the UAE and Africa, overseeing key initiatives to drive HPE’s engagement in the region. He will align company-wide priorities with local business strategies, continuing to work closely with government and private sector organizations to accelerate digital transformation and technology innovation across the region.

The regional headquarters are located in Dubai Internet City, a member of Tecom Group PJSC and the largest tech hub in the region.
