Three regional talents culminate in UAE’s 51st National Day Concert in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

ABU DHABI, UAE – The 51st UAE National Day Concert in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain culminated on Sunday night with a trio performance by three of the region’s most renowned artists that will always be remembered.

Organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), the Abu Dhabi show from Emirati Hamad Al Ameri was complemented by another stunning show in Al Ain featuring the Balqees and Fouad Abdelwahed, both aboard The stage at Al Jahili Fort in the Garden City. Throngs of Emiratis and other residents from different countries came to watch the local hits bring a unique Khaleeji flavor to the weekend’s closing act.

Emirati singer Al Ameri performed some of his favorites for an hour-long performance that included favorites such as Allah Attana Khair W Anam, Qalbi Shafouk and Shiftah. Treating viewers to a special evening proved to be the perfect way to end a memorable weekend.

In Al Ain, in a venue packed with groups of family and friends, Fouad Abdelwahed shone with heartfelt renditions of Awsafk Ajab and Yal Baeed, while Balqees played a range of her classics on the acclaimed repertoire , including Ward Joury and Hala Jdeeda.

The UAE’s 51st National Day weekend kicked off with a sold-out show by Hussain Al Jassmi at Al Hosn on Thursday night, followed by a series of fireworks across the UAE on Friday and Showcasing some of the best musical talent in the region last night.
