Abu Dhabi: – Al Masaood Group, one of the leading business groups in Abu Dhabi, hosted a joint delegation from “Abu Dhabi Customs Administration” and Singaporean consultancy “Crimson Logic” at its headquarters. During the visit, a high-level meeting was held to assess the operational procedures developed by the Al Masaood Group and to discuss opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the areas of logistics and bonded warehouses.
The meeting was part of an initiative by the Ministry of Government Affairs to strengthen relations between the public and private sectors, and Abu Dhabi Customs, in partnership with Crimson Logic, to implement the first phase of the ‘Development of Tools for a Linked Inventory System’ based on best practices from global customs , Execute the customs business system project.
During the meeting, Al Masaood Group was approved as a certified and accredited company for free zones, including Zayed Port, Khalifa Port and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), which are storage tools and provide logistics services experts. The group has also exempted all imported products from the 5% duty on all its various sectors. It was also agreed to carry out site inspections to ensure that the Group’s bonded warehouses meet customs standards.

The plan relies on successful cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as customs authorities, and requires voluntary compliance with norms and obligations by supply chain companies involved in international trade. Singapore-based consultancy “Crimson Logic” will evaluate the Abu Dhabi Customs Commercial Warehouse program, which specializes in collecting, transforming and storing data and providing data access through reporting, business information, analytical tools and third-party software.
