On November 26, Krewe of Cypress held its annual Debutante Presentation Ball at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center in Plaquemine, presenting nine young women.
Newcomers include:
- Olivia Helen Baudin, daughter of Pamela and Stan Baudin, was introduced by her grandparents Helen and Patrick Pendley and accompanied by her grandfather.
- Mary Kate “Katie” Blanchard, daughter of Janeé and Vic Blanchard IV, escorted by her father.
- Victoria Elizabeth “Lily” Bradford, daughter of Amy and Jerry Bradford, was accompanied by her father.
- Anna Catherine Caballero, Jeanné and Timothy Medine, Jeanné, Timothy Medine and Ryan Caballero’s daughter, accompanied by her grandfather, Charles Bujol.
- Alli Jeanne Desselles, daughter of Audra and Brian Desselles, accompanied by her father.
- Emma Louise Hargrove, daughter of Paige and Crockett Hargrove, was introduced by her grandparents Janet and Charles Bujol and accompanied by her grandfather.
- Maggie Grace Hurdle, daughter of Tricia and Brady Hurdle, escorted by her father.
- Kennedy Claire Passantino, daughter of Pam and Jason Passantino, escorted by her father.
- Madison Claire Young, daughter of Andrea and Travis Young, accompanied by her father.
The speaking chairpersons are Ann Sanchez Couch, Biney Williams Rowland and Nina Sanchez Seneca.
Kay Wilbert Gaudin served as master of ceremonies. Members and guests of the Krewe of Cypress were seated by committee members Christopher Couch, Matthew Rowland, and Clint Seneca, spouse of the presentation chair.
Clay LeBlanc and Leslie Mullowney served champagne and toasted the debutants and their entourage. The debutants, members of Crewe and their guests then enjoyed a night of dancing.
The debutantes will also serve as maids at Crewe’s annual Mardi Gras Ball on February 4th in Plaquemine.
