UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour Meets with Chinese Vice Premier in Abu Dhabi

He then emphasized the importance of coordination between the two parties to strengthen regional and global stability, drive economic development, support cultural cooperation initiatives, and contribute to human progress and prosperity.

Commenting on the UAE’s trade relationship with China, Sheikh Mansour said the UAE builds on its status as the People’s Republic of China’s main trading partner in the region as it seeks to broaden the bridge of cooperation between the governments of the two countries and the private sector. More initiatives to increase trade, strengthen infrastructure, promote knowledge exchange and utilize advanced technologies pave the way in line with the vision of the UAE leadership to promote economic development and achieve leadership in various fields.

The meeting also discussed the economic and trade relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and China, ways to strengthen cooperation, and prospects for accelerating the establishment of partnerships in priority areas.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Administrative Bureau and member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice; and Ahmed, Minister of State Ali Sayeg.

On the Chinese side were Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE; Guo Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council of China; and Wu Jianghao, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.
