Can an employer put an employee on probation multiple times? A Dubai court recently shared a video making it clear that this is not allowed.
If the employee successfully completes the probationary period, the contract “comes into force in accordance with the agreed terms”.
Employees may choose to join another company during the probationary period; however, they must notify their current employer one month in advance. If they want to leave the country, they must give 14 days’ notice.
If an employer wishes to terminate a probationary employee, they may do so with 14 days’ notice.
