The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) is pleased to present JanArtsNYC’s full schedule of events.
Beginning January 4, 2023, the annual series of top public performances and cutting-edge industry gatherings will resume live at venues in New York City throughout January.
“We’re finally back in person and excited to present our 10th Anniversary Prototype Festival (Reboot) with JanArtsNYC! This year features three extended titles from the 2022 lineup and groundbreaking new titles not to be missed. Mark your calendars for 2023 5-15 January,” said PROTOTYPE Founding Directors Kristin Martin and Beth Morrison.
Since 2010, JanArtsNYC has dedicated January to New York City’s “Performing Arts Month,” bringing together top performers from around the world each year to showcase the latest in theater, dance, opera, music and performance.
“JanArtsNYC provides the ultimate performing arts experience for industry delegates, New Yorkers and visitors throughout January. What better place than New York, the creative capital of the world, for this global gathering of talent, discussion and resources!” Annie Del Castillo said.
MOME welcomes more than 45,000 performing arts leaders, artists and fans from around the world back to New York to attend and enjoy the following events: Under the Radar Festival at the Public Theater, January 4-22 In a complex era of surrounding circumstances, including social network storms and independent theater creators, who have faced enormous difficulties and setbacks in the past three years, 36 performers from 9 countries will be held in 6 venues over the course of 19 days. One event, the American Chamber Music Concert, will be held January 5-8 and is dedicated to professionals in fields such as small ensemble music.
