On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the UAE, the Japan Fruit and Vegetable Export Promotion Council held a Japanese fruit presentation and tasting event at the residence of the Japanese Consul General in Dubai and Northern Emirates on December 15th.
The event, aimed at promoting the freshness of Japanese fruits and fruit products, was attended by about 40 restaurants, supermarkets and traders from the UAE and Japan, and 100 people including Noboru Sekiguchi, Consul General of Japan in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Ohkubo Shiro, the goodwill ambassador of Japanese cuisine for this event, and Mansour Al Yabani, an Internet celebrity certified by the Dubai government.
Some of the fruits on display include melons, sweet potatoes, apples, grapes, strawberries, persimmons, pears, oranges and juices.
Japanese fruits and vegetables are known for their high quality, safety and safety. Hence, the demand for these products is gradually increasing. In order to further promote future exports, the committee believes that it is important to spread the charm of Japanese fruits and vegetables to overseas markets and establish an export system. The Japan Fruit and Vegetable Export Promotion Council collects and provides information on items required to export domestic fruits and vegetables and their processed products, while providing support to its members to help accelerate the expansion of fruit and vegetable exports.
