UAE’s Babita Singh has been conferred as International Women of Courage 2022 for her exceptional leadership and outstanding contribution to peace, harmony and protecting Human Rights at the 12th International Human Rights Summit 2022, which has been dedicated to Dr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
The 12th edition of this International Summit was held in New Delhi by the All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice In Association with Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, Ladakh, International Human Rights Advisory Council (IHRAC), Indian Press Trust, Board of Global Ambassador for Human Rights and Peace (GAHRP), National Council Of News & Broadcasting (NCNB), Asian Human Rights Council (AHRC) , Amnesty Worldwide (AW) , Universal Mission For Peace And Harmony (UMPH) And International Press and Broadcasting Association (INBA) & International Council for Environmental Protection, Conservation Of Forests And Other Natural Resources.
The conclave marked its august presence by His Excellence, Prof Dr Zahidul Haque, along with a galaxy of pre-eminent spiritual Gurus, dignitaries & guests from various countries, Human Rights Commission, Foreign Diplomats and United Nations. Babita is a global business professional from India, born and raised in Africa, and is currently spearheading her businesses from the United Arab Emirates. “Babita is Formidable,” said Dr Anthony, who chairs AICHLS.
“This honour is extremely important to my team and me as we still need to do much more to support human rights defenders who provide leadership outside of formal decision-making structures And as our interventions shift—rightly so—add more power to those that build resilience through the provision of assets, skills, jobs, dignity and protection” quoted the ecstatic Babita Singh who is not only a serial entrepreneur but an eminent humanitarian and has received many accolades for her contribution to the society at large.
