[ad_1]

The High Organizing Committee for the Sheikh Zayed Festival, currently at Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi until 18 March 2023, is arranging a dizzying array of international folklore and arts events for 2023 new year celebration.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival grounds will celebrate the New Year with a variety of unique events, events and parades, the largest of which will be a 40-minute fireworks display.

Aiming to break 3 new Guinness World Records in terms of duration, volume and choreography, the exhibition will offer visitors to the festival an extraordinary experience from the first minute in 2023.

On December 31st, the gates of the festival will be open from 3:00 pm to 2:00 am and visitors will be welcomed with the festival message “Hayakum”. A record-setting drone show, the first of its kind in the region, will see more than 3,000 drones entertain visitors as they ring in the New Year.

The festivities also included various events at the Heritage Village, a unique art exhibition that showcases the UAE’s heritage by replicating the four main environments in which Emirati civilization settled and flourished: the marine environment, the desert environment, the mountain environment, and the agricultural environment.

The festivities will include special activities for children, including theater and circus performances in the Children’s Theater, as well as fun games at Fun Fair City, sports at the AlForsan International Sports Resort, and many other activities from 3:00 pm to 2:00 am 00 o’clock

The Global Parade of Civilizations featuring more than 27 countries from around the world will usher in the New Year with carnival performances, international folklore and cultural performances that will roam the festival grounds and other pavilions.

Visitors to the festival can wander through the many different pavilions, admiring and experiencing the cultural heritage of the participating countries, such as dance and live music performances in the theaters scattered throughout the pavilions.

In addition to traditional Emirati performances such as Al-Yola and Al-Razfa performed by Emirati performers, visitors will be provided with a fun and entertaining interactive experience. This year, the Sheikh Zayed Festival features a rich program of events and entertainment.

Since its inception, the festival has been keen to raise awareness of the intellectual and cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates by organizing world-class cultural and entertainment events capable of engaging citizens, showcasing its rich traditions and highlighting the extent of its diversity, global inhabitants and tourists.
