TUNISIA, Dec. 27 (AP) Tunisian authorities have discovered the bodies of four people believed to be African migrants, including a pregnant woman, off the coast of the Mediterranean island of Kerkena, Tunisia’s regional prosecutor said Monday.
Prosecutor Faouzi Masmoudi told The Associated Press that the body had been handed over to the district hospital in the city of Sfax.

They were found early Sunday and appeared to have drowned a few days earlier, he said. Asked about online claims that a newborn baby was among the dead, he said only adult bodies had been found.
