Blue wants S Club 7 to get back together.
The “All Rise” hitmakers, who released their first new album in seven years, “Heart and Soul,” in October, are eager to see the “Bring It All Back” hitmakers (currently touring as a trio) ) followed in their footsteps through a full reunion.
When asked who he’d like to see get back together, Duncan told BANG Showbiz EXCLUSIVELY: “I personally like S Club 7. I’d love to see all of them make a big comeback together.”
“They’re from my time too, and I love the five boys.”
Duncan is happy to be back at Blue again this year because his bandmates Anthony Costa, Simon Webb and Lee Ryan are like “brothers” to him — even if, like every family, they have their fights.
He said: “Excited to be back with a new album that we really enjoyed putting together and producing. Excited to be touring again and excited to work with the boys.
“These guys are my brothers, I don’t have any siblings, so I spent the last two decades of my life working with Ant, Si and Lee at Blue and they’ve become my extended family.
“Sometimes I want to murder them, but most of the time it’s a harmonious foursome!”
At the same time, Antony believed that fans only wanted to hear “good pop music,” regardless of the era in which it was made.
When asked why he wanted ’90s and 2000s pop bands back, he said: “I think people just want to hear good pop music. No matter what era you’re from, a lot of ’90s and 20th century bands are coming back for nostalgia journey of.
“We did a show in Norway where there were a lot of bands from the 90s and 20th century. The crowd loved it. The music makes the world go round—it’s not about what’s cool or not.
“It’s just about people enjoying the music. We’re excited to take another bite out of the cherry.”
