Sharjah
The family-friendly destination of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), in partnership with the Sharjah Business and Tourism Development Authority, announced that the fireworks will take place at the following locations:
1. Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah
Al Majaz Waterfront will light up the Khalid Lagoon with an 8-minute long fireworks display. The destination will also organize other shows from 7.45pm on December 31, 2022.
You can also enjoy these fireworks at Al Noor Island, which will be specially arranged for New Year’s Eve.
2. Khorfakkan Beach
Khorfakkan Beach will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a countdown, featuring LED, fire and bubble shows for families and children from 7.45pm.
Ajman
In an Instagram post, the Ajman Tourism Development Department also highlighted the planned fireworks display along the Ajman Corniche.
The show is expected to be five minutes long and will be free to all visitors.
Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah will strive to break the world record for “the longest multi-rotor/drone simultaneous launch of fireworks” and create a new world record for “the largest aerial sentence formed by a multi-rotor/drone”. The exhibition will cover 4.7 kilometers of seashore between Al Marjan Island and the village of Al Hamra.
