Universal soon lined up James Wan’s Atomic Monster and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Pictures, another horror flick . The original horror film Nightwalk, starring Wyatt Russell (“Overlord”) and Kerry Condon (“Three Billboards Outside Abing, MO”), is scheduled for January 19, 2024 release date.
The photo is from a 2014 short film by Bryce McGuire and Rod Blackhurst, and centers on a “hidden source of horror in the iconic backyard swimming pool.” The two filmmakers will co-write and co-direct the feature film adaptation, with Wan and Bloom serving as producers.

The film will be executive produced by Michael Clear and Judson Scott for Wan’s Atomic Monster and Ryan Turek for Blum’s Blumhouse. “Night Tour” will be released on the same day as Paramount’s animated adventure “Tiger Apprentice,” which stars Michelle Yeoh, Henry Golding, Bowen Young and Leah Lewis.
Universal quickly planted the flag on a key release date in early 2024, a critically acclaimed horror film with a $12 million budget that grossed nearly $46 million worldwide during its opening weekend. A year in advance, “Night Tour” was positioned as another horror film with a potential event scale, with a simple but original high concept and a large production.
Wyatt Russell recently played a less-than-ideal Captain America in Disney+’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” eventually renaming himself Agent America, while Condon is known for his supporting role in “Inisherin.” Earned the buzz of awards season.
