Sky News Arabia has appointed Abdou Gadallah as head of news for the regional news network.

Gadallah has over 20 years experience in the media industry, having held various roles across the region, covering a variety of roles in the news and media industries. He first joined Sky News Arabia in 2012 and has held various positions on the editorial team.

Throughout his career at Sky Arab News, he was instrumental in the development of its newsroom and played a leading role in the development of its digital and social media platforms. In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Head of News and has played a key role in keeping the channel’s day-to-day operations and editorial team moving forward despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
