Abu Dhabi to host top music event Wireless Festival

Wireless Music Festival, Europe’s largest celebration of urban music and pop culture, is coming to the Middle East for the first time and will be held on 11 March on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Inaugural event will include multiple stages, 13+ live performances, catering and award-winning activities

First held in London in 2005, Wireless is known for its vibrant atmosphere, plethora of events and immersive experiences that bring out dreams for first-time festivalgoers and seasoned audiences alike.

Wireless in Abu Dhabi will feature exclusive performances from world-renowned stars covering hip hop, urban, rap, R&B, grime, dance and more. International and regional performers will include Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine and Young Stunners, with more names to be announced.

The headlines of the night have been reserved for the famous American rapper Travis Scott. The eight-time Grammy-nominated, diamond-certified artist and founder of Cactus Jack Records is credited with changing the course of hip-hop with a string of groundbreaking albums and conversation-inducing moves.

He ignited the Super Bowl, starred in his own Netflix documentary, and even had a spot on President Barack Obama’s playlist. Travis has amassed 40 billion total streams and has dozens of Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum certifications worldwide.
