ABU DHABI, 14th January, 2023 (WAM) — In celebration of World Logic Day, School of Innovative and Disruptive Coding in the UAE capital 42 Abu Dhabi, in partnership with ADIA, hosted 400 Emirati high school students on the school campus, making them Being able to explore their potential as future coders in the emirate.
The event saw students discover 42 Abu Dhabi’s revolutionary learning model, which aims to create a diverse and inclusive educational infrastructure to support a future-ready workforce.
The event is part of ADIA’s Computer Science and Mathematics Development Track, launched under its Early Preparation Program (EPP), in line with ADIA’s efforts to invest in the UAE’s youth talent pool that will help kick-start the UAE’s digital transformation .
During the event, students gained insight into computational thinking, algorithms, abstraction and pattern recognition problem-solving techniques that are fundamental to computer science and many other subject areas and careers.
At the end of the course, students complete an online problem-solving assessment designed to help them explore their interests in computational thinking and computer science.
After successfully completing the challenge, students explored the school’s innovation campus and gained insight into 42 Abu Dhabi’s peer-to-peer learning approach, which develops young talent, enabling them to build innovative solutions and accelerate the emirate’s digital economy.
The event also allowed students to discover the interpersonal skills that coders acquire at 42 Abu Dhabi, allowing them to gain leadership in the digital realm.
These skills include collaboration, adaptation, creativity and critical thinking skills.
