Sheikh Mohammed stresses importance of continued communication, talks to find political solution to crisis

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from President of the Republic of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday, during which they discussed relations between the two countries as well as developments way of these relationships.

The two heads of state also reviewed the latest developments in the Ukraine crisis and some issues of common concern.

Sheikh Mohammed stressed the importance of continuing communication and negotiations to find a political solution to the Ukraine crisis, whose humanitarian and economic consequences have affected the entire world.

The UAE President also highlighted the UAE’s humanitarian approach in providing assistance to peoples around the world, emphasizing the UAE’s support for all initiatives and efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to end the crisis and rebuild security, stability and peace. Peace.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also expressed his condolences to President Zelensky for the loss of Ukrainian Interior Minister Denis Monastersky, as well as several officials and civilians in the helicopter crash.

For his part, the Ukrainian President expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the UAE’s continued humanitarian support to the Ukrainian people and his active role in promoting peace.
