Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment has announced the launch of seven fully interactive ‘Gameboxes’ at Magic Planet – City Center Mirdif, Dubai and Magic Planet City – Center Al Zahia, Sharjah.
In partnership with leading gaming company Immersive Gamebox (IGB, formerly Electric Gamebox), the region’s first ultra-immersive gaming experience will offer guests a whole new way to entertain groups starting January 20.
Dubbed the smartest rooms in the world, ‘Gameboxes’ are interactive digital smart rooms featuring cutting-edge technology including patented touchscreens, 3D motion tracking and surround sound to deliver a shared gaming experience unlike any other. Each “Gamebox” caters for 2 to 6 players, making it the perfect new entertainment destination for dates, couples and the whole family.
Players can choose from 12 different experiences from IGB’s growing library of licensed and original IP games created by its in-house studio.
All games will be available on Magic Planet, including Alien Ability Test, Ticket to Mars, Psychedelic Mansion, James Bunny: Tropical Casino and Squid games each 60 minutes long, as well as Temple of Coins, Angry Birds, Block Smash Mania, Trivia Mash -up, each lasting 15-30 minutes, Kids’ games including Temple of Coins Junior, Tip Tap Memory Challenge and Shaun the Sheep: Championsheeps, each lasting 15-30 minutes. IGB will also provide Arabic localizations of these games.
